Composed by François Castiello (accordion), Nicolas Pautras (double bass) and Pascal Muller (guitar), Beltuner is genuine musical alchemy mixing diabolical rhythms of gypsy music -the pompe manouche- with nostalgic ballades of Eastern Europe and tango drags. They also bring a new breath to the popular accordion and “musette” music with their fresh way of playing - stressing the gypsy influence, making place for improvisation, bringing their own compositions and including numerous influences. Created in 2004, the band has already performed countelessty in most popular French and European venues (The Balajo, The Divan du Monde, the Django Reinhardt Festival in Italy, The Nuits de Nacre in Tulle) and have just released their second album.

French counter-tenor Thierry Grégoire has a very rare and much sought-after tessitura which made him quickly well known among prominent conductors (Jean Claude Malgoire, Marc Minkowski...). He made a name for himself in over 350 performances of "Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme" by and Lully at La Comedie Française (French National Theatre) in Paris. Invited by the most prestigious festivals in France, he has also appeared on the international stages of productions in New york, Melbourne, Vienna, Amsterdam, Tokyo, India.

The Brazilian the theorbo player, Ronaldo Lopes graduated in National Conservatoire in Lyon (France). He is a specialist of ancient instrument, baroque and Renaissance luth in particular. He is also a music teacher at the Prince Rainier III’s Academy (Monaco), and the National Academy of Art and Music in Porto (Portugal). They offer a pleasantly surprising baroque concert. They perform pieces from the 16th and 17th centuries. Songs are in French, Italian and English.

Trough 8 topics (Urban landscapes, Mobilities, Habitat, Places of culture, Intelligent buildings, Crossroads of knowledge, New round, Vectors of image), this video exhibition sets out to demonstrate how French architects build today’s city, both within and beyond French borders. They bear an important ambition, that to design an architecture which creates the city at a human scale. A city, beautiful and ambitious, complex and discreet, active and serene; a City-World of modern times, a city “a la française”.

A travers 8 themes (“paysages de ville”, “mobilités”, “carrefours des savoirs”, “habiter”, “lieux de culture”, “bâtiments intelligents” et enfin “vecteurs d’images”), cette exposition vidéo montre comment, en France et a l’étranger, les architectes français cherchent a créer la ville a l’échelle de l’homme. Une ville belle et ambitieuse, complexe et discrete, active et sereine, une ville-monde des temps modernes, une ville «a la française».

Compiled from four Moliere’s plays (the Bourgeois gentleman, the Miser, the Imaginary Invalid and the Pretentious young ladies), this play is a new story of three brothers living together, all three obsessed with their own person, and singleminded. Harpagon (the Miser) only worries about money and sees thieves everywhere; Argan (the Imaginery invalid) imagines he's the sickest man in the world and constantly asks for medicines; Mr Jourdain (the Bourgeois gentleman) dreams to climb up the social ladder in hopes of becoming a “lord”…
Nothing is lost here from the Moliere’s ideas which even today appears to be very contemporary and the play is a funny mix of Versaille’s splendour era and our own modern life.
