Dear all,
I would like to invite you to a briefing for new volunteers on 1
November at 10.00-11.30 am. Other volunteers who have not attended this
session before are also welcome to attend!
At the briefings we will discuss:
- Who are the refugees in Malaysia?
- Living as a refugee in Malaysia
- The role of UNHCR and cooperation with the Government of Malaysia
- Volunteering- some does and don'ts
- Support to volunteers - upcoming initiatives
The meeting will be held at the UNHCR office in the Main conference
room.
Address: 570 Jalan Bukit Petaling (just behind the Royal Palace, Istana
Negara).
Please let us know if you would like to attend by the 28 October.
The number of participants for the sessions are limited - first come,
first served.
You may bring a friend who is not registered as a UNHCR volunteer if
you wish. Let us know in that case so we can send the registration
form.
